Calling all Teens!

This summer's reading theme is "Find Your Voice" and what better to reflect on your own voice than looking back to hear about the voices of Ipswich residents past. Who was able to really have a voice so long ago? Imagine what those less heard people would have said had they had a voice. Or how they would feel if they were transported into 2023 Ipswich. What has changed but also what has stayed the same? Would they be heard today?

Join us as we ask these questions and walk through the Old North Burying Ground (63 High Street Ipswich, Massachusetts, 01938) with gravestone preservationist Rachel Meyer (of Epoch Preservation, Inc.).

Registration required! We will meet at the entrance of the graveyard (across the street from the Dunkin Donuts) at 10am and explore from there. If you would rather meet at the library, Teen Librarian Katy will be leaving and walking to the site from the library at 9:40am.
