NORTHERN THAILAND - Join Reference Librarian Jeff Klapes, ‘The Traveling Librarian,’ for an armchair traveler’s journey to the mountainous north of Thailand. Starting in the country's second city, Chiang Mai, with its scores of elaborate Buddhist temples, we'll make a circuit through the mountains along the border with Myanmar, with dramatic scenery, wildlife, and traditional villages. Jeff is the recently retired Head of Reference Services at the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library in Wakefield, Massachusetts, and an avid traveler and photographer.
