The First Ever! Artifact Community Show and Tell

Thursday, March 314:00—4:45 PMRogers RoomIpswich Public Library25 North Main Street, 25 North Main Street, Ipswich, MA, 01938

In an informal setting, participants will be invited to briefly tell a narrative about a historical object or item of interest. You are also welcome to just come and listen! Items won't be passed around (unless the "teller" feels comfortable with it) for the sake of keeping things from being damaged. We encourage in particular items related to our common historical experience and knowledge- items related to Ipswich, Massachusetts, or historical events are a little more resonant than artifacts that speak only to you or a select group of people.

There's no limit to what you might bring: a significant photograph, military decorations, a piece of clothing, publication- whatever you would like to share that isn't overly fragile or dangerous!

We will be sharing some interesting items from the IPL archival collections, but we also want to hear from YOU!

Bring over your own historically interesting or significant item and tell us what it means to you, Ipswich, or the world!

All ages welcome.
