While the Work Projects Administration's impact is visible all over the United States with plaques, roads, monuments, and murals to remind us of its great reach- the only evidence left of the WPA's presence at the Ipswich Public Library are historical files in the Ipswich Room Archives, from over eight decades ago. Join Archivist Max Close in the Collins Room at the July 18th as he gives a talk uncovering the story of this little-known WPA project, right here at our Library.
