Join us for a celebration of John Updike.  Start your evening at the Caldwell Building at 6pm for the unveiling of a plaque honoring the location where John Updike wrote many of his early works.  Then, stroll up the hill to the library for a community reading of John Updike's short story, A & P followed by an open mic of Ipswich writers reading their work about Ipswich. 

We'll have copies A&P available for anyone wishing to read.

We'll start the reading around 6:30pm.

Light refreshments will be available.
