Children ages 6-13 are invited to participate in the Children's Room annual Summer Photo Contest, which runs for four consecutive weeks beginning Wednesday, July 12. A separate theme is assigned each week. Children may submit one photo per week relevant to the assigned theme to ipswichlibraryphoto@gmail.com by noon on Wednesday, July 12, Wednesday, July 19, Wednesday, July 26 and Wednesday, Aug. 2. Please include the child's name and age with each submission. The winners' photographs will appear the following week in the Ipswich Local News. There are also small prizes awarded to first and second place winners each week. Children are encouraged to participate all four weeks, but may participate in any combination of weeks they like.
