Rising third-fifth graders are invited to read the "Big Head" biography of Sally Ride, the first woman astronaut to go into space. Books will be made available a month ahead of time for children to read before the meeting. We'll talk about Sally Ride, enjoy a snack, and participate in other fun activities. The following week, on Aug. 14, a Sally Ride interpreter will be giving a presentation suitable for children and adults at the Ipswich Council on Aging. Get ready for a great "Ride"!
