Armchair Traveler: Oxford and Somerset

Wednesday, April 287:00—8:30 PMVirtual - LiveIpswich Public Library25 North Main Street, 25 North Main Street, Ipswich, MA, 01938

Join Reference Librarian Jeff Klapes, ‘The Traveling Librarian,’ for another of his popular armchair travel presentations via Zoom. This series highlights travel photography and stories and travel tips about destinations around the world.

This month we'll be going back to England, specifically the counties of Oxfordshire and Somerset, in the west of the country. We'll visit the elegant university city of Oxford, as well as the cathedral towns of Wells and Glastonbury, and go hiking in the Cheddar Gorge, home of the world-famous cheese, but also an impressive wild landscape.

Jeff Klapes is the Head of Reference Services at the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library in Wakefield, Massachusetts.

***This is an online presentation. Registered participants will be sent a link to the Zoom meeting prior to the program..***
