Join Reference Librarian Jeff Klapes, ‘The Traveling Librarian,’ for another of his popular armchair travel presentations via Zoom. This series highlights travel photography and stories and travel tips about destinations around the world.

This month we'll be going back to the Peloponnese in Greece, focusing on a little known area called the Mani peninsula. The Mani is wild, rocky, barren, and mountainous, but has a wealth of villages bristling with stone tower houses, as well as countless Byzantine churches, olive groves, and deserted hidden coves for swimming.

Jeff Klapes is the Head of Reference Services at the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library in Wakefield, Massachusetts.
